Adoptable Pet of the Week – Edgar

Edgar is the ambassador of happy smiles because wherever we take this sweet senior, everyone smiles back.   At 9 years old and 58 pounds, poor Edgar was headed for animal control just a few weeks ago; he was one of a dozen dogs abandoned at a kennel, and he spent almost 6 months in a small run with several of the other dogs.   Edgar is gentle with other dogs and kitties.   Because he is arthritic, Edgar wouldn’t do well with a high energy dog or young children.   Edgar would love a home with someone who understands that although senior dogs don’t have as much time, they have oodles of love to give.   Edgar is an American Staffordshire Terrier, possibly mixed with American bulldog.   If you’d like to give this loving senior a soft place to land for the rest of his life, please apply at www.hs-uc.org
