WEDDINGTON, NC – Animals First Rescue is pleased to present Georgie for adoption. “Georgie is a big love bug, 5 years old, who arrived at the shelter as a stray last June.  He is a super affectionate boy hasn’t found his furever home yet. He loves to be brushed and sit in your lap.  Georgie is very talkative and has a quirky “meow” or chirp that is oh so endearing!

Poor Georgie continues to be overlooked because he has chronic runny eyes due to blocked ducts, likely the result of a virus contracted prior to his coming to the shelter.  His eyes are normal but he will likely always be subject to clear eye drainage.  Aside from that cosmetic issue he is the perfect companion and he is longing for someone to love.  Are you the special person Georgie has been looking for?”
