This adorably sweet boy is Max and he is currently being fostered by the Humane Society of Union County. Max is a complete love bug and wants nothing more than to be with his people and feel safe. This boy had a very rough start for the first two years of his life. He was crated, starved, and very sick. Because of this, Max can be shy at first (especially with men), but he will come around thanks to his amazing foster family who showed him what it’s like to be loved! Max is a 2 year old Boxer mix, neutered, and healthy as a horse now! He loves his squeaky toys, running all around the yard, and snuggles on the couch while watching TV with you. He is house and crate trained, does well with other well balanced dogs, but not cats and probably no young kids because loud noises will scare him until he feels comfortable. A fenced in yard is a must for this guy!
A great dog for a couple, or a family with preteen or teenagers who know how to treat pets with tender loving care. Please fill out the adoption application for Max at www.hs-uc.org.
