She’s been shot-up, knocked-up, and left at a shelter to die, but we just couldn’t leave this wonderful dog behind. Eleven gorgeous puppies later, Babbs is back to what we imagine was her pre-puppy waistline and is ready for love. She’s the color and look of a Chesapeake Bay Retriever with the signature stripe of a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Her foster Mom says that Babbs is very loving without being clingy, not at all destructive, but is somewhat of an escape artist—no children under 12, please, as open doors are too tempting. Babbs plays really well with other dogs and belly rubs are on the Babbs list of favorite things. C’mon, it’s time for Babbs to have a life worth living! If you think Babbs should be your next “fur” baby please fill out the adoption application at www.hsuc.org.
