Buster is an eight-year-old, medium-sized Carolina dog that was dropped off at the shelter by his owners because he is heartworm-positive. It’s a sad way to end up, and usually it’s a sad ending, but Buster was lucky! Animals First Rescue saved him from euthanasia because even though he only has a handful of years left, he deserves to live those years fully. He will be treated for his heartworms and updated on shots. He is a sweet and gentle boy that is good with other dogs and cats, and would just love to be with a family to live his golden years. Do you have a place in your home and your heart to give this sweet, sad old boy comfort and love?
