As many of you have read, Travel is beginning to open up, both here in the USA and abroad. As of today, there are still some requirements and “if’s about travel, especially international. I would like to take just a minute or two of your time to attempt some updated information for you. This is NOT an attempt to sell anything, rather an update for our friends and clients.

International travel changes on a day to day basis, so I will not bore you with where you can and can not travel today. Rather I can give you some general guidelines. We can also go over your options in the event you cannot travel when you call us.

Generally, the Caribbean Islands including the Bahamas, have all opened doors to travelers once again, There are, however, some requirements before you arrive there. For the most part, everyone must have a Covid 19 negative test prior to departure. Also, most require a certified lab result taken by nasal Swab and printed to take with you (or saved to your cell phone). Some have dedicated websites outlining the requirements, and many have online forms to fill out. An important consideration is the time interval each government requires between the actual test and the airline boarding attempt. Just 3weeks ago, at Miami Airport, 62 people were denied boarding a single departure to Barbados. Almost100% were due to failure to comply with Covid testing procedures and timing.
