CHARLOTTE – Getting bumped to First Class was a great beginning for this flight. Having only 47 people on the flight probably improved our chances, so– away we go! It was a great flight and upon arrival in Turks, the government check-in was typical and really quick. A 15-minute ride to our resort, and we were HOME for the next five days. Please let me tell you about this resort from the perspective of 3 families we met there.

Virginia and Ron were relative newlyweds with a 9-month-old baby. While talking, my grandfather’s instincts took over and I said to myself, what could this resort offer this family? WOW, did they inform us? First, she was able to arrange to have a crib and layette in the room on arrival. She brought the dry formula to mix on-site, and the staff provide distilled, purified water for her to mix with. They were assigned a second-floor luxury suite, with Balcony, in the French Village. Since that village is located near many restaurants, they were just a short distance from everything. Most importantly, they had Concierge Services and were able to schedule every need around the child, in order to enjoy themselves as a family. During the stay, they enjoyed a free Catamaran excursion and some snorkeling. They did all of this by scheduling child babysitting with a nanny from Beaches. They felt really comfortable because they had researched before they booked. They found that all the nannies were certified and trained, and the areas were kept spotless. They said they were delighted with the suite they were in.
