CHARLOTTE – June 18 is Veterinary Appreciation Day™, a day to recognize and thank the veterinary professionals who provide critical care for our beloved pet companions. Created by Trupanion in 2015, this special day celebrates the veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members who dedicate their lives to providing compassionate care for our fur babies. Because our hospital is literally made up of an amazing group of veterinary professionals, we wanted to take this chance to really spotlight them and show how much we appreciate our team! 

Veterinarians and their staff are essential members of the community, offering support for pet parents through all stages of a fur baby’s life. From helping to prevent illness with routine vaccinations to providing comfort during difficult times, veterinary teams work hard to ensure the health and well-being of their fur baby patients.

We often go above and beyond the call of duty. Our team works long hours, often in difficult conditions, to accommodate the needs of the fur babies that visit our hospital. It’s important to us to not just say that we care but show it in everything that we do for both the fur babies and their pet parents.

This June 18, let us take a moment to appreciate the amazing work of veterinary professionals. Not just the ones who make up our two hospitals, but those all over who have dedicated their lives to caring for fur babies. Whether it’s a kind word, a post on social media, or simply taking the time to thank your own veterinarian, please join us in showing appreciation for all they do.
