Iva Jean’s Fudge was started when Debbie Hanks of Waxhaw needed a career change and turned to her mom’s famous fudge recipe for inspiration. She started with her mom’s original recipe for chocolate fudge and peanut butter fudge and expanded it to 22 original and creative flavors. Some are seasonal like her Salted Pecan Pumpkin while others are great year round such as her Cappuccino flavor. She also has a collection called Friday Night Fudge which features alcohol inspired flavors like Margarita, Mojito, Irish Coffee, Brown Sugar Bourbon, Limoncello, and an Old Fashioned with Bourbon Soaked Cherries!

Hanks has an approved home kitchen where she creates her fudges in individual batches. She then distributes the fresh fudge for sale to local shops like Provisions Waxhaw. She loves having her fudge for sale at Provisions and says the owners, Lisa Vigil and Ken Posko, are wonderful to work with and have created a family friendly environment with a great atmosphere and even better food. Hanks has been very busy these last few weeks as she ramps up for the Christmas Season. As Hanks says, “Nothing says Christmas like fudge!”
