Rustic Hearth Bakery, started by Tiffany Larsen of Waxhaw, NC in October 2016, focuses on making traditional bakery desserts along with breads and other baked goods using time-tested recipes passed down through previous generations. Larsen explains, “I have loved to be in the kitchen since I was a small child. As a nanny for several families in California, I was given free reign in the kitchen for meal time. This often included baked bread or desserts to accompany dinner. As I became older, I became the source to confide time-tested recipes from my grandmothers and great grandmothers. While Larsen hopes to open her own storefront soon, right now she sells exclusively with Provisions. She got in touch with the owners of Provisions Waxhaw, Ken Posko and Lisa Vigil, soon after they opened and came into to demo her products in store. There was such a positive response from the community and customers, that she continued to offer her products there. Larsen finishes with, “Rustic Hearth Bakery is proud to be part of this community.
