
If you’re looking for something creative and fun to do, check out Shabby Chic’s “Sip, Shop, and Paint classes,” which are held weekly throughout the year. Owner, Brandi Ruch, has some cool projects lined up for the spring season including monograms galore, wooden signs, and state decor. Following is the list of classes offered in March:

- Thursday, March 2nd from 6-8 pm, “Eat Pray Love” sign $45
- Tuesday, March 7th from 6-8 pm, “Monogrammed initials, bunnies or anchors” $40
- Thursday, March 16th from 6-8 pm, “Horseshoe monogram” $35
- Tuesday, March 21st from 6-8 pm, “NC or SC state monogram” $40
- Tuesday, March 28th from 6-8 pm, “Lucky horseshoe sign” $35
- Thursday, March 30th from 6-8 pm, “Monogrammed initials, bunnies or anchors” $40
You can register by stopping into Shabby Chic, located at 205 Salem Street SW in Waxhaw, or by calling 704-256-5421. Payment is also accepted through PayPal to Brandiruch@yahoo.com. Registration will close one week prior to each event, so be sure to check your calendar and sign up as soon as possible. Spots are limited and you won’t want to miss out!

The Shabby Chic studio is also available for private events such as birthday parties, girls night out, couples’ events, work events, mom’s groups, and more. The studio is open during regular business hours for any one person or group. You just need to call to reserve your time one week in advance. Evening groups require a minimum of eight or more guests. Choose any craft you would like to do from a list of options or meet with Brandi to plan a new craft. Then, gather your group, bring your favorite food and drink to enjoy, and have fun.
Some groups like creating holiday decor, while others prefer to create something they can display year-round. With so many options to choose from, you can surely find something fun to do with your group. Rally some of your friends and plan something for spring!
