Cuthbertson Cavaliers 

Basketball:  



J P Haggarty – scored 18 points, senior Martin Flax 15 points  for the Cavaliers in their 56-53 loss to Charlotte Catholic.

Girls Basketball: (16-2 Overall, 7-1 in Southern Carolina 3A Conference) 

Lauryn Hardiman –  The junior guard led the Cavaliers in scoring with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals while shooting 3-5 from the three point range in the teams first conference loss this season to Charlotte Catholic 44-43.

Maddie Dillinger – The sophomore forward scored 11 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 2 blocks in the game against Catholic.

Lillian Anderson – The junior center added 4 points, however, her 12 rebounds and 2 blocked shots kept the game close throughout the contest.

Marvin Ridge Mavericks

Basketball:  (10-7 Overall, 5-3 Southern Carolina 3A Conference) 

Sam Caldwell – scored 15 points and Jeff McInnis 11 points against Monroe recently.

Porter Ridge Pirates 

Basketball:  (11-5 Overall, 4-4 Southwestern 4A Conference) 

Isaiah Williams – The 6’3″ freshman came off the bench and scored 21 points while grabbing 4 rebounds and added 2 steals in the win over East Mecklenburg.

Cameron Stitt – The 6’8″ senior is averaging 19.7 points per game, 7.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 15 games recorded.  He scored 12 points against the Eagles.

Marcus Williams – The sophomore has averaged 13.0 points per game, 6.5 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.8 steals in 15 games for the Pirates.

Sun Valley Spartans 

Basketball:  (13-5 Overall, 8-1 Southern Carolina 3A Conference) 

Dorian Shinhoster – The senior is averaging 13.0 points per game, 8.3 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 17 games played this season for the Spartans.

Weddington Warriors 

Basketball: (13-6 Overall, 8-1 Southern Carolina 3A Conference) 

Owen Van gundy – The junior guard scored 16 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists in the Warriors recent win on Friday night.

Chase Lowe – The freshman guard netted 16 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and added 2 blocks in the win on Friday night.
