Cuthbertson Cavaliers


Weston Hatfield – The junior forward led the scoring for the Cavaliers against the Warriors scoring 11 points.

J.P. Haggerty – Scored 10 points for the Cavs in the loss to Weddington.

Girl’s Basketball:

Maddie Dillinger – The sophomore standout scored a season high 26 points against the Lady Warriors.  She has remained consistent all season and deserves all-conference recognition.

Ruby Williams – The 5’8″ freshman scored a career high 14 points against Charlotte Catholic recently on Tuesday night.  Williams also blocked 3 shots off the bench to lead the lady Cavaliers to victory.

Honorable Mention: Senior guard Kaylin McKenney netted 13 points and senior Kayla Young contributed 12 points for the Lady Cavaliers vs. Weddington.

Marvin Ridge Mavericks


Garrett Bohannan –  The consistent senior guard in 21 games recorded is averaging 15.1 points per game, 2.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.7 steals for the Mavericks.

Sun Valley Spartans 


Dorian Shinhoster – The senior in 21 games this season is averaging 14.2 points per game, 8.2 rebounds, dished 3.6 assists and 1.2 steals to lead the Spartans.

Weddington Warriors 


Chase Lowe – The super freshman contributed 13 points, grabbed 16 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists in the Warriors win over Cuthbertson this past week.

Owen Van gundy Scored 15 points to lead the scoring for the Warriors against the Cavaliers.  He also grabbed 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and had 2 steals.

Girl’s Basketball: 

Karrah Katzbach – The junior led all scorers with 22 points and added 3 rebounds, 2 assists in the win over the lady Cavs.  She is averging 17.1 points per game this season.

Anna James – The Lady Warrior senior chipped in 18 huge points in the 64-62 upset win over the Cavaliers this past week.

Honorable Mention: Sophomore guard Emily Cunningham drilled a 3-pointer with 5.3 seconds remaining in the game to nail down the Lady Warriors upset win over Cuthbertson.
