Cuthbertson Cavaliers 

Girl’s Basketball: 



Maddie Dillinger –  The fiesty sophomore scored 10 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the Lady Cavaliers big win over Charlotte Catholic.  She was also selected as the “Featured Player of the Week.”

Honorable Mention:  The Lady Cavaliers who are 24-3 overall, 12-2 in Conference competition had solid team play from Kayla Young socred 10 points, added 2 rebounds and 1 assist, Lauryn Hardiman 8 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists, Lillian Anderson 7 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assissts and 4 huge blocks.

Marvin Ridge Mavericks

Basketball:

Garrett Bohannan – The senior had a huge game at the right time for the Mavericks.  He made big buckets while drilling 7 three pointers and scoring a game high 28 points in the title win over the Monroe Redhawks.  Bonhannan has had a good season scoring 377 points in 25 games for an average of 15.08 per game.

Jeff McInnis – The senior nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer to give the Mavericks a 71-70 win in the Southern Carolina Conference Tournament on Friday night.  Mcinnis has been consistent all season averaging 10.6 points per game and being a force under the both the offensive and defensive boards.

Weddington Warriors 

Basketball: 

Brock Bowen – The sophomore netted 17 points for the Warriors along with grabbing 7 rebounds and shooting 1-1 from the 3-point range in the semi-final round of the SCC Tournament loss to the Redhawks.

Chase Lowe – The freshman was held to only 8 points, however he contributed 7 rebounds, dished out 3 assists and drilled 2-3 three pointers in the loss.

Honorable Mention: Senior Wayne Dixon scored 9 points and added 4 rebounds, Caleb Wetherbee 8 points and 3 rebounds, and hit 2-3 from the 3-point range, Owen Van gundy, contributed 5 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists.
