Waxhaw Events & Programs Cancelled Through May 31st

Since we are unaware of what the future holds for new social distancing and sanitation requirements at events and recreational programs due to the impact of COVID-19 on our state and community, the Town of Waxhaw will be canceling or postponing all Parks & Recreation programs, events and rentals through May 31, 2020. This includes our concerts in May and the spring Kaleidoscope Fest scheduled for May 16th.

Our hope is the delay will allow us to reevaluate our events and programs with new guidance so they continue to be a safe gathering place for citizens to come together and recreate in a safe, fun and affordable way.

Anyone who has already registered for programs and events through the end of May will be receiving refunds.

All who are interested in registering for events beginning in June such as our summer Jammin’ by the Tracks Concert Series, July 4th parade, Autumn Treasures Fall Festival, and Holiday Festival of Lights may still do so online at waxhaw.recdesk.com.

A reminder that the Town of Waxhaw government buildings remains closed until further notice in response to government recommendations for preventing the spread of COVID-19. Staff is working remotely and you are able to reach us by phone or email.
