Don’t Fall For Growth Hacking

CHARLOTTE – Too often I come across claims that a digital marketer can increase your sales by a huge percent or get you to 10,000 followers in a month.

These claims come with a lot of exclamation marks!! Along with outrageous too good to be true promises at way too good to be true prices.

As with most things in life, you get what you pay for.

Some of these marketers call themselves growth hackers, and they usually claim they know some sort of secret trick and you need to hurry to buy their program, course, or their limited time offer before their trick is discovered.

If this sounds a little like made for TV offers, with claims like: “but wait, there’s more!”, that’s because it’s very much like that.

Do not fall for these scams. Growth hacking does not exist. Sure, you’ll probably get more followers, but you won’t get more sales and by the time you figure out something is wrong, these kinds of marketers are long gone, having already made their money from you.

Real social media management takes talent and is time-consuming, if you’re not paying a price that reflects someone giving you their time and talents, pass. If you can’t afford the price tag of an actual social media manager (and they can get pricey) then find a good scheduling tool like Buffer and check out their usually free training, blogs, and podcasts to help you get started.
