Waxhaw hosted their fall festival, Autumn Treasures, on October 13 – 14th, 2018.  This annual festival features two stages, plenty of local vendors, and many food trucks and booths including: Hog Dog, Killer Q, Cousins Maine Lobster Truck, Kona Ice, The Redneck Bubba, Cookie Dough Bliss, and more.  It kicked off on Saturday morning with a pancake breakfast supporting several local charities.  The festival also featured the Grill’n & Chill’n BBQ Cookoff, sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society, with more than 30 teams from all over the Carolinas and raised money for the South Charlotte Dog Rescue.  Vendors booths ranged from home decor to clothing, hand made items to local businesses, and many more.  The Kid’s Zone featured a petting zoo, carnival rides, face painting, and kid’s crafts.

It’s our first year here (at the festival) and please let people know that we travel all around Waxhaw.”
