Brooklandwood, home of the Queen’s Cup in Mineral Springs, held their first ever open house on October 15, 2017. Liz Clayton, Queen’s Cup Event Director, explained that this was a trial run for future events at the land conservatory. While they can’t change the land or buildings, they are trying to do more public events than just the one day a year it is currently open for the Queen’s Cup.

We came out for the cars and the music!”Brigitte Casemyr and Tim Reiter, from Charlotte, NC are long time steeplechase attendees. When they heard about this they said, “We have to go.
