Easter Bunny Express at N.C. Transportation Museum

On April 15 and 16, general admission tickets to the NC Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC, give you access not only to the museum grounds and exhibit buildings but also include a visit with the Easter bunny! Photos are allowed, and professional photos are available for an additional charge. Additional activities include a “Bunny Trail” with a take-home treat at the last stop, coloring sheets and crafts, a balloon twister, inflatable games, and model trains. Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Optimist Hall

The second annual Easter Egg Hunt at Optimist Hall will take place on Saturday, April 16, from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm. There will be three different start times for different ages: children 5 years and under will start at 10:30 am, ages 6 to 12 will begin at 11:30, and a special, adults-only hunt for three golden eggs will take place at 12:00 pm. This unique event is sure to be filled with fun for all. The building features a variety of unique food and retail ventures along with restaurants. Crafting Open House at AR Workshop
On Saturday, April 16, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, visit AR Workshop in Waxhaw for an Easter Craft Workshop. Participants will craft an Easter sign; 4×8 signs start at just $6. The event will also feature an Easter Egg Hunt in the shop and a visit from the Easter Bunny. This is a drop in, first-come-first-served event; no reservations are necessary. 2022 North Carolina Easter Festival
On April 16 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, visit the 2022 North Carolina Easter Festival at the Cabarrus Arena and Events Center. This free, family-friendly festival will feature face painting, games, dance performances, vendors, crafts, an Easter Egg Hunt and free photos with the Easter Bunny! Egg Hunts will be split by age: children 5 and under will begin at 2:00 pm; ages 6-9 will start at 3:00 pm, and ages 10-12 will set off at 4:00 pm. Peter Cottontail’s Bunny Trail

Peter Cottontail is hopping down the bunny trail to Stallings! On Thursday, April 14, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, enjoy an afternoon of games, face painting, Easter basket making, scavenger hunts, live music, food and more at Stallings Municipal Park. Rumor has it the Easter Bunny himself will be making an appearance, so don’t forget to pack your cameras. Through April 17, participate in The Great Easter Eggspedition presented by Matthews United Methodist Church.
