WAXHAW, NC – On Saturday, March 19, South Charlotte Dog Rescue (SCDR) hosted a St. Paddy’s Day Pop Up in downtown Waxhaw.  This event was sponsored by Mary O’Neills and featured BBQ plates for sale with 100% of proceeds going to SCDR.  Adoptable pups of all sizes were onsite to meet and make friends while t-shirts and other SCDR merchandise were on sale. Amy Merrill, SCDR Treasurer, shared, “We had a great day!  Many people visited with the adoptable pups.  We sold all of our brisket and almost all of our pulled pork and chicken plates.  We also sold t-shirts all day, and sweatshirts once the sun went down.  Our 50/50 raffle and lottery basket raffle were both a success!”
