Co-owners Dr. Kristen Trulear-Jackson, Chief Operations Officer and Dr. Anna Greta Taylor, Chief Executive Officer opened the Waxhaw location to provide the area with a state of the art facility for aesthetics and beauty care.
Dr. Trulear-Jackson and Dr. Taylor worked together in a previous practice in Charlotte for anesthesiology. Both doctors traveled extensively for one year to participate in courses for aesthetics taught by the best in the field. They aim to provide clients not only with the best techniques and procedures but also take into consideration the whole patient with consultations that include a focus on healthy lifestyle living.
Renew Med Spa offers customers many sought after procedures in beauty and health treatments. They offer both Botox and its similar counterpart Disport Xeomin, facials, dermal fillers, micro-needling, and chemical peels. Other popular treatments include plasma-rich platelet injections, cool-sculpting, and dermaplaning.

Clients are then given an assessment exam to determine if they are a good candidate for cool-sculpting and a customized treatment plan for their unique body type is created along with quotes for 2-3 pricing packages.

Dr. Kristen Trulear-Jackson studied Biomedical Engineering and is a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive training in facial aesthetics. She strives to provide patients with compassionate care and facial aesthetic procedures that are both gentle and effective. Dr. Anna Greta Taylor studied Biomedical Engineering, holds her RN and Master’s Degree in nursing and is a board-certified anesthesiologist who has a passion for medical aesthetics. She provides both skilled and thoughtful patient-centered care. Dr. Taylor is highly trained in sclerotherapy, botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and collagen induction therapy. Their licensed aesthetician, Brittany Lowery, is a Licenced Practical Nurse who graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2016. She is an accomplished aesthetician who is customer-centered and handles basic aesthetic procedures while the physicians undertake more advanced procedures within the group. Office Manager Kristen Sharpe is warm and friendly and has extensive knowledge of the products and aesthetic procedures that Renew Med Spa has to offer.
Renew Med Spa will be hosting an Open House on February 29th from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. They will be offering Botox Tuesdays starting February 1st.
