WAXHAW, NC – In 2021, Nicole Malara opened her own office, Nicole Malara Realty, under the NorthGroup umbrella, in downtown Waxhaw right next to Maxwell’s Tavern. In under a year since opening, Malara has been able to put together a successful team of seven realtors and has received the “2021 Union County and NorthGroup Real Estate Top Producing Agents” Award. Malara is also a Relocation Specialist assisting clients in learning more about South Charlotte and the surrounding areas.
On Thursday, June 9, Nicole Malara Realty hosted “Cocktails at Capricci’s” in Waxhaw. With a large charcuterie spread, gift bags, and a cash bar, this event brought together Realtors, new home owners, and other moving specialists. A chance to get to meet some more new friends and neighbors is what brought Christine and Fink to the party. They recently bought a house through Malara and were excited to see her again and learn more about downtown Waxhaw.
“There is no other place in Charlotte like Waxhaw with its charm, historic train that splits the downtown, eclectic businesses, and of course the great people that live here! We have our own saying we coined about Waxhaw – ‘Small Town Living, Big City Vibes’ – which I believe fits perfectly for our town especially with its vibrant downtown!” shared Malara. She continued, “I believe being part of the Waxhaw Community, being very hands on and having such a close-knit team is a huge plus [that sets her apart from her competition] but beyond that, knowing every time I sell a home almost all my clients become very good friends!”
Nicole Malara has been a Realtor for over four years and a real estate agent for seven. She has been growing her relocation business as well. “I have become very successful with my relocation FB community groups: ‘Moving to Beautiful Charlotte from Another State’ and ‘Welcome To Beautiful Waxhaw,'” she shared. “[These groups] allow people to join from all over the world who are interested in Charlotte and the surrounding areas and find vital resources as well as read and get answers to hot topics and search information regarding just about everything about the areas prior to moving.”
