15 Years after starting Wilson’s Natural Landscaping, Chad Wilson continues to grow the firm and is now expanding services.

Originally from West Virginia, Chad moved to North Carolina in 2003 and started this design/build landscape firm with his brother, Chris.

The business’ office is located in Stanfield and they serve clients throughout the entire Charlotte region, Wilson said.

“We are a design, build, install company which means we design the landscape, build, and maintain it” he said.

The company works to be environmentally friendly and installs many native plants in their design.

Wilsons emphasizes 2 mottos which are “do no harm,” and “continuing what Mother Nature started”.  These beliefs further emphasize their dedication to protecting and enhancing our environment in each project they build.

Recently, they’ve added a new affiliate of the business known as The Outdoor Pros. This division assists customers with power washing, fence installation, private locating, trenching, brush hogging, stump grinding, light demolition work, debris removal, and other outside tasks in addition to the fine landscaping services, he said.

Chad has always enjoyed landscaping work and is happy to see how the company has grown and evolved over the years. Though the number of clients has increased since inception, keeping the business small enables Wilsons to provide superior and quality service to clients. He credits staff members such as Elaine Page, the business’ office manager, Michael Culp, project manager/owner and others for helping make the business a long term success, Wilson said.

“There is a lot that we do to improve the customer’s outdoor living,” Culp said.

Culp has been with the business for nearly 12 years.  He really enjoys meeting and working with their different customers and addressing their specific needs/challenges. He’s worked on various projects for the company and has learned a lot through the work he does, he said.

“Overall it’s fun, and it’s a good learning experience,” Culp said.
