Hearing the story of how Two Brothers Jerky came to be is quite a surprise.

Paul Brock, of Durham, N.C., and Eddie Wales, of Columbia, S.C., were born a year apart to a young mother who gave them both up for adoption.  Raised in neighboring states, the two reconnected in 2010 and found out that they had several similarities including mannerisms and values, success in opening their own restaurants, and enjoying well-made beef jerky.

Now, rejoined with each other and their mother, the brothers share their passion with their three families as well as your family with their Two Brothers Jerky.  This grass-fed beef jerky sourced from Hickory Nut Gap Farm in Fairview, N.C. is available in three flavors. Bull City Original captures the vibrancy and smoky flavor of Durham, North Carolina; Famously Hot evokes the kick of a spicy summer night in Columbia, South Carolina; and Sweet Ginger Teriyaki loads up the ginger for a one of a kind taste sensation.

Wales explains, “We want to be the best beef jerky company in North and South Carolina.”

But you don’t have to travel far to find this amazing jerky.  It is available in Downtown Waxhaw at Provisions.  “Provisions Waxhaw is the type of retail store we like to be partnered with: locally owned, a real part of the community and they sell local products.”

While this beef jerky has only been available to the public for a about a year and a half, it will surely be around for a long time to come.
