Out with the old, in with the new! At least that’s what Harris Teeter did when they closed the Rea Village Harris Teeter, off Providence Road, to re-open a far bigger, better version of itself in the master-planned community of Rea Farms, off Golf Links Road. A grand opening ribbon cutting on September 19thofficially made this store the largest Harris Teeter in Charlotte!
One glance inside this newly constructed Harris Teeter and it’s easy to see that it’s not your average HT. An expansive building allowed for a vast offering of features, including a wide array of fresh and hot food bars to grab a quick bite and head back on your way. Though if you’ve got time to kill, or don’t quite feel like rushing back to the office, this location has ample dine-in seating and free wi-fi to boot!
“Harris Teeter is your neighborhood food and pharmacy, and strive to create not only an incredible place to shop, but also a place where our neighbors can gather with their neighbors and stay for a while,” says Harris Teeter Communication Manager Danna Robinson
In addition to their typical top-tier services, including a drive-thru pharmacy, ExpressLane Online Shopping, and a Starbucks, this Harris Teeter offers a Juice Bar as well as a sizable Beer and Wine Bar.
In celebration of their grand opening, they are offering a series of different promotions to entice new shoppers and build loyalty such as waiving the $4.95 service fee on all online orders through October 16th. Furthermore, shoppers will receive $5 off their first four ExpressLane orders of $40 or more. So, together, that’s an almost $10 savings on grocery shopping and you don’t even have to set foot in the store! They are also providing pharmacy incentives where shoppers can earn a $25 electric coupon, credited to their VIC card, for every non-federally funded prescription filled.
This Harris Teeter is pulling out all the stops to welcome returning customers, by giving them the familiar shopping experience that they’ve come to expect, but also striving to foster loyalty and build new relationships as they provide more of the creature comforts sought by the community at large.
