Santa’s coming to town…specifically, Waxhaw. In preparation for Christmas, Santa will leave his sleigh with the elves for a final tune-up, and rely on a fire truck, guided by Waxhaw’s own volunteer fire department, to visit neighborhoods throughout town in the lead-up to his big night!
This will be the 5th year for Santa’s local ride, with the continuation of the fan favorite event, currently up for debate by The Town, citing budget concerns. All the more reason for Waxhaw residents to make the most of it this year!
Check the website for the specific route, https://www.waxhaw.com/379/Santas-Ride-Thru-the-Neighborhoods; and make sure to keep those littles’ peepers open long enough to wave a special hello as Santa rides by December 9-14th! He’ll start his run at 6:30pm each night, and though he’ll be too busy to stop, he’ll certainly be giving good little boys and girls a special Merry Christmas wave!
