WEDDINGTON, NC – The Town of Weddington received a new subdivision application from Shea Homes. The proposed subdivision includes 19 lots on 27.4 acres. The property is north of the Shaver Farms subdivision and will be a continuation of the existing Atherton subdivision. The property is zoned RCD and the proposed lots are a minimum of 40,000 sq ft with approximately 20% of the development in common open space. The proposed subdivision will have one access point through the existing Atherton subdivision via Summer Harvest Drive. Emergency-only access will be provided through existing Shadowmere Lane.
