WAXHAW, NC – Jimmy Grappone, Realtor at The CLT Life Home Team with Costello Real Estate & Investments, is our hometown cheerleader.  Grappone started The CLT Life in April 2020 and has already expanded the brand to include more information about our area by partnering with Parkbench.com.  Grappone recognized that the Parkbench platform would be a huge help to The CLT Life by providing a base through which he can build a comprehensive list of all the great things about living in the CLT area.  “For me, it’s another vehicle to help promote small businesses and communities, to show residents and potential future residents what makes Waxhaw and some of the surrounding communities such great places to live, work and play,” Grappone explains.

“The CLT Life is the brand I’ve created – and I’ve carried that over to my real estate business with The CLT Life Home Team,” continues Grappone. “The goal with Parkbench is to create interesting, entertaining, and informative content that people want to watch and to add value to local businesses by giving them a free place to promote their businesses.  Really, everything I do is a continuation of ‘The CLT Life,’ in a way.  Waxhaw, Fort Mill – all these local towns and communities are all part of the greater Charlotte, aka, CLT, community.” The www.Parkbench.com/Waxhaw site includes “my video interviews with local brick and mortar businesses, professional service providers, community leaders, and government officials, as well as exclusive deals offered by local businesses, a local events calendar, a local news feed, and real estate information specific to their neighborhood.  It’s a really user-friendly site, and you have the option of signing up for the newsletter so you’ll get those interviews in your inbox weekly, or you can just watch them by visiting the site.”

Grappone would like this site to be a valued community experience that will continually improve and update over time as more people interact and add to the site.  Since businesses can log on to Parkbench and claim their business, they can add specific information including specials, sales, and more.  Businesses can also add a blog to their listing and other really cool things.  So far, Grappone has been reaching out to businesses that he already has a relationship with, but he wants to talk to all businesses, so there is a form where a business can be nominated or request to be featured at Parkbench.com/Waxhaw/interviews.  “They can also contact me directly at jimmy@costellorei.com or text me at (704) 313-8514 and let me know they want to be interviewed,” says Grappone.  “I’m really looking to talk to brick and mortars in the Waxhaw, Weddington, and Wesley Chapel areas, as well as south Charlotte, Indian Land and Fort Mill.”

Grappone concludes, “I’m really excited to use this platform to interview and talk to people in and around Waxhaw, to help them share their stories with the public, and to empower residents and visitors to be informed and to take full advantage of everything there is to see and do locally.  I’m a natural storyteller and a connector, and we live in such a great place, and I really enjoy sharing that with people.”  You can join Grappone on his journey by visiting thecltlife.com  or Parkbench.com/Waxhaw.
