WAXHAW, NC – Marvin Ridge softball has completed the regular season with a record of 12-2. Their final regular season game resulted in an 11-0 win over Charlotte Catholic. This win marks the sixth in a row for the Mavericks, and followed a 10-0 win over Parkwood earlier in the week. The Mavericks are seeded in the 11th position for the first round of the state playoffs. They will face 6-seed Jesse Carson for their first playoff game. Marvin Ridge softball has earned a 15-seed position in the women’s soccer state championships, finishing the regular season with a record of 10-3-1. Their last regular season game against Weddington ended in a 3-0 victory for the Mavericks.

Cuthbertson women’s soccer ended their regular season with a record of 10-2-1. Their regular season record, topped off by a 2-0 win over Weddington, earned the Cavaliers an 11-seed position against 6-seed Cox Mill in the first round of the women’s soccer state playoffs. Cuthbertson softball completed their regular season with a record of 5-9. Their season ended on a 14-0 loss against Piedmont. Cuthbertson baseball has opened their season with a record of 2-0. The Cavaliers won their season opener against Weddington by a score of 4-0. The cavaliers followed up with another win over Weddington by a score of 7-3.



Parkwood Wolf Pack softball has ended their season with a record of 7-7, defeating their final opponent, the Monroe Redhawks, by a score of 18-0. Parkwood women’s soccer finished the season with a record of 4-9, winning their final game against Monroe 10-1. 

The baseball team at Sun Valley has started their season with a record of 2-2. The first Spartan wins of the year came by way of a double header victory over Piedmont. Sun Valley’s next games will feature double headers against Cuthbertson, Parkwood, and Weddington. Sun Valley is currently tied for first place in the baseball conference with 2-0 Cuthbertson.
