St. Patrick’s Day was celebrated this year under the Waxhaw water tower.  Hosted by Mary O’Neills, the party started at 8 am on Saturday, March 17th 2018 with an Irish Breakfast being served while watching the GAA finals live from Ireland, as well as Ireland v England in the last game of the Six Nations.  The party then moved outside to a large tent that was erected just for the occasion.  Irish Dancers and bagpipers joined in the fun before turning the stage over to the Vinyl Tones and a U2 cover band “In the Name of Love”.
