WAXHAW, NC – On Friday, March 17, 2023, downtown Waxhaw was ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day regardless of the wet forecast. While other local events were canceled, the Waxhaw St. Patrick’s Day Party raged on in the rain. Hosted on Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18, Mary O’Neill’s promised nothing but drinking weather and they delivered! Under the tent you could find Bullet the Blue Sky, 485, Kevin Cosgrove, Jim Gallagher, and Irish Dancers. Other local watering holes were also eager to party, and DreamChasers Brewery and Waxhaw Tap House were also full of green. So raise a glass and enjoy a classis Irish toast: “May your troubles be less, and your blessings be more. And nothing but happiness come through your door.”
