Waxhaw Fire Department Adds Four New Firefighters

WAXHAW, NC – Four Waxhaw firefighters completed their fire classes through the Monroe Fire Department Academy and graduated Friday, August 5.  On Tuesday, August 9, all four firefighters were sworn in by Chief Gregory Sharpe. This brings the total Fire Department roster to 92 full time, part time, and volunteer firefighters.  The Waxhaw Fire Department is continuing to grow and is seeking more members.
