Waxhaw Library Branch Manager, Beth Myles, Retires After 15 Years of Service

Beth Myles, Waxhaw Library Branch Manager, had a retirement party held in her honor on Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at the Waxhaw Library.  This well attended event saw a presentation from the Waxhaw Weddington Rotary Club to Myles for her years of dedication.  “It was more enjoyable than I ever expected.  It was a wonderful way to end 15 years of serving the community and a wonderful way to start a new journey.”  Myles continued, ” My very best wishes for success to Elaine Wolfe, the new Branch Manager.  She has a great team.  Go Wild!”

Waxhaw Weddington Rotary Club members in attendance include: Ted and Sandra Platt, and Diane and Larry Hook.  Diane Hook: “I knew Beth from when she was a school teacher and I was a 5th grade volunteer. She is the nicest person ever!”  Sandra Platt: “She makes it fun to come to the library. Always smiling!
