Waxhaw has started the holiday season with over 500,000 lights turned on during the Holiday Festival of Lights on Saturday, December 2. There were Carriage Rides provided by Southern Breezes Farm, Marshmallow Toasting hosted by Created in the Carolinas and Waxhaw Entrepreneurs, a Scavenger Hunt hosted by the Union County Public Library, carnival rides, food trucks, a Polar Express Train, and much more.
