WAXHAW, NC – The Waxhaw Community Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Inc. announce the grand reopening of Fire Station 27 at 7703 JAARS Rd Waxhaw, NC 28173. The fire station has undergone renovations to allow for twenty-four-hour staffing to improve our response to the area.

We invite the public to start off their Memorial Day weekend with a visit to renovated Fire Station 27 and enjoy hamburgers and hot dogs with their firefighters.

We will also recognize our members for their accomplishments over the past year and a half. The event will be Saturday, May 28, 2022 10:00 am to2:00 pm. We look forward to celebrating the updated functionality of the station and the accomplishments of our members with our community.
