WEDDINGTON, NC – Weddington Acres is a Union County-based community featuring custom-built homes and two planned gated entrances located at the intersection of Antioch Church Road and Weddington-Matthews Road.  Since its Grand Opening, it has welcomed 15 new families.  The Final Lot Release of 10 premiere homesites will be available Saturday, September 19.  Tour times are limited and are filling up fast.

Weddington Acres consists of 25 total lots, each up to 1.64 acres.  With lighted streets, the 41-acre community is nestled minutes from downtown Matthews, Waverly, and Providence Road.  Convenience is a key factor for most homebuyers; it is very close to shopping centers, dining, entertainment, and award-winning schools (Antioch Elementary, Weddington Middle, and Weddington High).

Benefits of living in Weddington Acres also include two lighted and landscaped grand gated entrances, county water and sewer, natural gas, and low Union County taxes.  Large custom-build homesites are rare in this area of Weddington.   Its unique location and wooded setting create natural privacy from other communities.

What makes Weddington Acres stand apart is the option for homebuyers to choose their own builder.  Italianate, French Eclectic, American Eclectic, Modern American Farmhouse, and Craftsman are just some of the styles available.  Owners will be provided architectural guidelines for assistance in the building process.

The developers of Weddington Acres have been in business for over 40 years, developing land and creating mostly residential and resort properties in the Carolinas, Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, and Texas.  They have developed over 160 single-family neighborhoods including local communities such as Reflection Point, Providence Country Club, Skycroft, and Chatelaine.  They are happy to provide not only seclusion and customizability for residents but nearby amenities as well.

Weddington Acres is located at the intersection of Matthews-Weddington Road and Antioch Church Road.  The sales event for the remaining properties will be held Saturday, September 19.  Food will be available onsite.  However, interested purchasers will need to call 704-212-2016 to book appointments.  There will also be purchase incentives during the sale day only.  For further questions, feel free to e-mail info@weddingtonacres.com or visit www.WeddingtonAcres.com.
