In the face of the Covid-19 pandemic, many people have had their lives uprooted and rearranged, and few more dramatically than graduates of the class of 2020.Weddington High School Rock

To honor their graduating seniors, and the years of hard work that they’ve put in, Weddington High School introduced several creative ideas.

Weddington’s social media accounts have featured senior spotlights over the last few weeks, and the school has hosted several prize giveaways for seniors. The school handed out yearbooks via a drive-through parade, with seniors decorating their cars in attempts to win prizes. The school presented caps and gowns to graduates by drive-through as well, celebrating seniors with music and dancing as the students drove through.
