MINERAL SPRINGS, NC – White Tulip may have opened while you weren’t looking, but make sure you take a look now!  Owner and Pastry Chef Tracey Bross and her husband Raymond Bross have brought something very unique to the corner of 75 and Potter Road in Mineral Springs, NC.  Focused on Macarons and NC Lemon Pies, they also serve up coffee, tea, desserts, pastries, cookies, and much more.  The coffee is specially roasted for White Tulip by Dillworth Coffee, and they have various local artisans selling jams, jellies, homemade candles, and other local specialties.

Tracey Bross has been creating desserts for over 25 years and has worked at The Fountain Bleu Hotel in Miami, FL,  The Peabody Hotel in Orlando, FL, and The Gaylord Palms in Dallas, TX.  A graduate of Johnson & Whales University with a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, Bross got a little stir crazy at home during COVID.  So, she stirred up her take on the famous Macaron.  She had originally tried them in Las Vegas, NV, but found them to be too sweet.  Eventually, she perfected her recipe and began selling them from her home.  Now, you can take home freshly made macarons in a wide variety of flavors.

The White Tulip Gourmet treats are always homemade with love and care in small batches.  They are very active on Facebook and Instagram and will post when a fresh batch is out of the oven.  People will come and pick up the fresh-baked goodies after they are posted, and Bross shared that someone has even driven from two hours away to get her macarons.  Bross has also introduced an NC Lemon Pie that she hopes will become the famous dessert of NC.  She originally had the pie on the NC Coast, and when she came home, she found a recipe in a local magazine.  Now that it’s been tweaked and perfected, you can bring home an NC Lemon Pie to your family too.

The name White Tulip was chosen by Bross because of a special connection to her family.  White tulips have always been Bross’s favorite flower, but after her mom passed, she learned it was also her mom’s favorite flower.  While they haven’t had a chance to have a Grand Opening celebration yet, you shouldn’t hesitate to find out what is in the ovens on Facebook or Instagram and then head over for a treat!

White Tulip Gourmet will soon become your favorite local spot for freshly baked goodies and freshly brewed coffee.  Bross finished, “As the lady boss of White Tulip Gourmet, my vision is to provide our incredible customers with excellent pastries, desserts, and coffee in an art-inspired environment.  See you at the café and let’s make every day delicious!”
