Cuthbertson Cavaliers

Men’s Lacrosse: 

Craig Curtis – The senior has scored 27 goals, 9 assists and a total of 36 points to lead the team offensively.  He also has a shooting percentage of .551 and has 31 GB’s.

Kevin Bucher – Kevin is a versatile senior defensive player who can play multiple positions.  He was named “Player of the Game” against the Parkwood Rebels recently.  He has 53 GB’s this season second on the team with 6 goals offensively.

Kris Weber – In 15 games the senior defensive standout leads the team with 66 GB’s, and has 5 goals with a shooting percentage of 1.250.


Ben Gilks – The senior continues to shine for the Cavaliers and leads the team in all major offensive categories.  His batting average is .411, hits 23, RBI’s 17, doubles 6, home runs 1, OPS 1.092 with 4 stolen bases.  Ben is fielding 1.000% on 146 chances, 135 put-outs, 11 assists to lead the Cavaliers on defense.

Girl’s Soccer: 

Blake Sutherland – The senior midfielder has scored 10 goals, 10 assists, 30 points with an average of 2.1 points per game.

Men’s Lacrosse: 

Cam Renner – The senior has scored 27 goals, 23 assists for a total of 60 points to lead the team.  He averages 4.0 points per game for the Mavericks.

Ben Lyon – The senior has 23 goals, 13 assists for 36 points while averaging 2.3 points per game on 35 shots for a shooting percentage of .657 including 26 GB’s.

Parkwood Rebels

Girl’s Softball: 

Caroline Ruth – This young lady continues to dominate on the mound for the number 2 ranked Rebels statewide.  She is 12-0, has pitched 79.2 innings, ERA 0.53, allowed on 6 earned runs, 7 walks, has 150 strikeouts, facing 285 batters yielding a stingy .114 OBA, .151 OBP.  She is also batting .436, 5 doubles, 2 home runs and an OPS 1.175.

Mary Pierce Barnes – She leads the team with .500 batting average, 21 hits, 12 runs, 5 doubles, 2 triples, 6 stolen bases and an OPS 1.202.

Sun Valley Spartans 


Zack Budzik – The senior is hitting .348 in 21 games wth 23 runs, 23 hits, 4 extra base hits, and a team leading 12 stolen bases.

Sam Howell – The junior in 21 games has a .397 batting average, team leading 27 hits, 23 RBI’s and a 1.020 OPS with 6 doubles and 2 home runs.

Caleb Bruce – The senior outfielder is hitting .373, 15 runs, 25 hits, 10 RBI’s with 5 doubles and an OPS .895 with 4 stolen bases with a fielding percentage .957.

Josh Swartz – The senior infielder has .357 batting average, 25 hits, 13 RBI’s, 7 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run with a .937 OPS and fielding at a .966 percentage rate.

Weddington Warriors 

Men’s Lacrosse: 

Whitner Litton – The junior face-off specialist was named “Player of the Game” against Christ School recently.  He won 60% of face-offs 16 of 27 giving his team much needed possessions.  For the season he has won 171 face-offs on 277 opportunities for a .617 winning percentage.

Girl’s Soccer: 

Kaelee Van Gundy – The senior has scored 17 goals, 7 assists, has accumulated 41 points while averaging 3.7 points per game.

Alex Odle – The sophomore has similar statistics with 14 goals, 13 assists, has contributed 41 points for a 3.7 points per game average.
