Marvin Ridge High School Mavericks


Connor Ryan – The senior forward scored 206 points in 19 games averaging 10.8 points per game.  He also led the team with 32 blocks and contributed 103 rebounds, 39 assists and 24 steals in his final season.

David Vogt –  Senior guard led the Mavericks with 112 assists for an average of 5.3 per game, he also led the team with 40 steals.  He scored 158 points in 21 games for the season.

Garrett Bohannon –  The returning junior guard made his mark scoring 208 points with 40 assists and 22 steals for the Mavericks.

Honorable Mention: Senior Harrison Brown averaged 10.6 points per game in 16 games with 35 assists and 24 steals. While senior Riley Berry scored 130 points with 71 rebounds and 17 blocks in his final season in 15 games.

This Week’s Outstanding Teams: 

Marvin Ridge –  The Mavericks who were 21-8 overall, and 12-2 in the Southern Carolina 3A Conference qualified for the State 3A Championship Tournament.  They lost in the second round to rival Charlotte Catholic.  The Mavericks finished the season ranked #108 in the state.
