Marvin Ridge High School Mavericks

Basketball:



Garrett Bohannon – The junior guard scored 19 points while adding 3 rebounds, 6 assists and 1 steal in the big rivalry game against the Weddington Warriors recently.

Harrison Brown – The senior guard/forward netted 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and had 1 steal in the Mavericks victory over the Warriors.

Connor Ryan – The senior contributed 11 points, had 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals and added 2 blocks against his rival for the Mavericks in their 69-47 win.

Indoor Track and Field: 

Kaityn Cole – In the Women’s 3200 Meters at the PH Fit Pro HS Elite Invitational she finished in 2nd Place with a time of 11:29.25.

Weddington High School Warriors 

Basketball: 

Caleb Dixon – The athletic senior center for the Warriors scored 11 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the double-double.  He also chipped in with 2 assists, 2 steals and had 3 blocks in a dominating all around performance under the boards in a losing effort against the Mavericks.

Indoor Track and Field:

Riley Felts – In the Women’s Pole Vault she was tied for 1st Place with a 12:00.00 vault at the PH Fit Pro HS Elite Invitational.

Anna Brown, Elizabeth Starkie, Sydney Burke and Sarah Bechtel in the Women’s 4 X 800 Relay finished in 2nd Place just 0.01 seconds off the winning time in the event.

Cuthbertson High School Cavaliers 

Girls Basketball: 

Lillian Anderson – The sophomore center scored 11 points and hauled down 18 rebounds, 6 blocks while adding 1 steal leading the Lady Cavaliers in their big victory over Parkwood on Friday night.

Maddie Dillinger – The 6’0″ freshman forward had a solid performance scoring 16 points while hauling in 7 rebounds and adding 1 steal in the win over the Lady Rebels from Parkwood.

Indoor Track and Field:

Sarah Latour – Won the Women’s 1000 Meters race with a time of 2:57.92 for 1st Place in the event.  She also finished a respectable 5:11.71 in the One Mile run just 3.78 seconds off the winners pace.
